New US E&P Grabs Oklahoma Foothold

A newly formed US exploration and production company says it has acquired 56,000 net acres in Oklahoma’s Scoop, Stack and Merge plays in the Anadarko Basin. Red Wolf Natural Resources, based in Oklahoma City, said it has bought contiguous acreage positions in each of the plays that will support development via extended-lateral drilling. Midstream deals on the acreage are already in place.
