Chevron Sanctions Gulf EOR Project

Chevron said Thursday that it has sanctioned a waterflood enhanced oil recovery (EOR) project in its operated St. Malo field in the US Gulf of Mexico. The company said it will be its first waterflood project in the deepwater Wilcox trend and will involve two new production wells, three new injector wells and topsides injection equipment for the Jack/St. Malo floating production platform.
