No Oil Impacts Reported From Texas Quakes

The US Geological Survey (USGS) recorded three earthquakes Tuesday in Texas that were felt from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to the Panhandle, with the strongest being a magnitude-4.0 tremor. The USGS said the first quake was the 4.0-tremor at about 2 a.m. local time Tuesday north of Snyder, Texas, in Scurry County. The second was a magnitude-3.2 quake at 3:30 a.m. southwest of Mansfield, outside of Fort Worth. The third was a magnitude-2.5 quake at 6:30 a.m. north of Snyder near the site of the first quake. A magnitude-4.0 quake was also recorded near Snyder on Monday afternoon.
