Use of Non-US Vessels Slammed

US Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-Louisiana) and a bipartisan group of her fellow members of Congress have slammed the Obama administration for allowing the use of foreignflagged vessels to move oil sold from the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve. In a letter to the White House, Landrieu and seven colleagues criticized the US Maritime Administration for granting 46 waivers to allow foreign-flagged vessels to carry the oil.
