CNOOC Remains China’s Fastest-Growing National Oil Producer

China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) remains China’s fastest-growing national oil company, posting production growth of 44.4% last year. The state giant said Wednesday that output averaged 900,800 barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2010. Crude oil production jumped 41.6% to 721,600 barrels per day, while natural gas output surged nearly 60% to 1.04 billion cubic feet per day.
