Onshore Laura Recovery Still Suffering Delays

The recovery of the offshore upstream sector the US Gulf of Mexico following the impact of Hurricane Laura was still going strong on Wednesday, although ongoing delays related to power outages continued to hamper onshore facilities. The federal Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement reported that 59 crewed production platforms, or 9.18%, of the 643 manned platforms in the Gulf of Mexico remain evacuated, down from the high-water mark of 310 on Aug. 27.
