Zeta Impacts Dwindle in US Gulf

Operators in the US Gulf of Mexico continued to rapidly bounce back from Hurricane Zeta, the latest severe storm to hit the region. The federal Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement said that roughly 518,000 b/d of crude oil production and about 431 MMcf/d of natural gas output — 28% and 16% of the regional total, respectfully — was still off line as of midday Monday as a result of Zeta, which passed through the Gulf early last week before making landfall on the beleaguered Louisiana coast on Wednesday (OD Oct.30’20).
