Keystone XL Facing Work Delays After Court Ruling

TC Energy has warned investors that a US federal judge’s ruling on the US Army Corps of Engineers’ permitting program could push some work on the long-delayed Keystone XL oil pipeline well into 2021. The project lost its approval to cross protected federal waters under the Corps’ Nationwide Permit 12 program after US District Judge Brian Morris put a hold on the permitting process in April and revoked Keystone XL’s Clean Water Act approval (OD Apr.17’20).
