Regulator: Canadian Oil Flows to Fall in 2020

Oil production in Canada is forecast to fall 6.6% in 2020 compared to 2019 as economic and regulatory curtailments take their toll on the world's fourth-largest oil producer. Canada's Energy Regulator projects that companies will pump an average of 4.38 million barrels per day of oil this year, including both conventional and oil sands production, down from an average of 4.68 million b/d in 2019.
