Total Puts Green Behind Green Energy Plan

Total has been on a buying spree this year to build up its renewable energy portfolio as the French major pushes ahead with its plans to become a “multi-energy” company by 2050. Since the start of 2020, Total has announced renewable projects with more than 5 GW of capacity, striking deals for wind, battery storage and a pilot solar battery manufacturing plant in France, floating wind off Wales, solar rooftop projects in Thailand, and other solar projects in India, Spain and Qatar.
