US Products Exports to Latam on Road to Recovery

Exports of refined oil products from the US to Latin America and the Caribbean are rising with the easing of Covid-19-related lockdowns and as vehicle traffic starts to ramp back toward pre-pandemic levels. US refined product exports to Latin America were a solid 5.65 million barrels per day in the week ended Aug. 14, according to data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), shy of the 6 million-plus b/d from the start of the year but much improved from the spring.
