US Gulf Operators Return in Delta’s Wake

The US Gulf of Mexico energy complex was once again in recovery mode Monday after Hurricane Delta swept through the area on Friday, leaving minimal damage reported in its well-tread wake. Nearly 70% of the US Gulf’s oil production and almost half of its natural gas output was still off line by midday Monday, according to the federal Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), down from over 90% of oil production and 60% of gas output.
