Oil futures resumed their march downward on Wednesday amid continued concerns about sloppy fundamentals, the spread of the coronavirus and bearish macroeconomic sentiment. Coronavirus has hammered demand lower while the dissolution of the Opec-plus bloc has opened the taps on oil supply. Saudi Arabia continued to double down on its messaging, telling Saudi Aramco to boost production capacity to a whopping 13 million barrels per day (related).
