Nordgold getting LSE listing

OJSC Severstal gold-mining subsidiary Nordgold expects to be listed on the London Stock Exchange on January 19, a Severstal statement says. On November 30, Severstal announced a stock swap to be effected by subsidiary Lybica Holdings B.V., in which GDR on Nordgold shares would be exchanged for Severstal GDR. Severstal announced on January 16 that Lybica had received documentation relating to 16,065,020 GDR and 4,309,365 Severstal shares, which together represent around 10.6% of Nordgold share capital. This means the 5% threshold was passed.
