MES solution delivers improvement for coffee company

Ahold NV is the largest private label coffee roaster in the Netherlands, and is a market leader in the production of private label coffee pods that produce coffee more conveniently and effidently than conventional vending machines. Currently the company's objective is continuous improvement through integrating and bringing transparency to all production activities. Integral to achieving these objectives are modules from Citech's Ampla MES system. These have been implemented and connected via B2MML (Business to Manufacturing Mark-up Language) to Ahold's FlexProces ERP system.
