Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said this week that there is no economic logic to sending duty-free petroleum products to Belarus, and starting from next year these supplies will be cut dramatically. Russia delivers about 3 million metric tons of oil products per year to Belarus, which in turn exports nearly all these volumes, according to observers.
