Lukoil Divides Growing Overseas Portfolios

Russia’s top independent producer, Lukoil, has divided responsibilities for its foreign upstream operations between two vice presidents, part of an overseas restructuring. Sergei Nikiforov has been ap- pointed vice president for Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa and will now be responsible for Lukoil’s projects in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iraq and Egypt. Prior to the appointment he was in charge of the company’s joint ventures.
