CEFC China Energy has stopped lift- ing Espo blend crude oil from Russia’s Far East Kozmino terminal, prompt- ing speculation that Rosneft has can- celed a five-year 260,000 b/d offtake deal it signed with the privately owned company in late 2017 (NC May30’19). CEFC has been the largest sin- gle lifter of Espo for more than two years, shipping on average 600,000- 700,000 metric tons of crude per month, mostly to China, with some passed on to Chinese refiners such as Unipec. But according to shipping sources, the company has disap- peared from the April schedule, with Rosneft barrels reassigned to other companies.
