摘要

Bright Zn-Ni coatings were developed by using thiamine hydrochloride as a brightener. Hull cell was used for the optimization of bath constituents and parameters. Galvanostatic electrodeposition from zinc sulfate and nickel sulfate with additives results in Zn-rich solid solution of nickel in zinc eta-phase. Surface morphology was observed by scanning electron microscopy, chemical and phase composition determined by X-ray diffraction, and corrosion investigations by electrochemical techniques. Coatings obtained at 5 Adm(-2) exhibited more corrosion resistance.
