Tata Steel Q2 net trebles to Rs. 3,116 cr on better realisation

Tata Steel’s consolidated net profit posted a three-fold increase in the September quarter to Rs.3,116 cr against Rs.1,018 cr logged in the same period last year, on the back of higher realisation.Its revenue from operations was up 34 % at Rs. 43,544 cr (Rs. 32,464 cr).Consolidated Ebitda increased to Rs.9,000 crore against Rs.4,664 crore recorded in the same period last financial year, while the Ebitda per tonne was at Rs.12,131.
