SAIL registered a 35% rise in sales to 16.59 lakh tonne in January 2020

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) registered a 35% rise in sales to 16.59 lakh tonne in January 2020 over the corresponding period last year (CPLY). During the ten-month period between April’19–January’20, it reported a 10.8% increase in sales over the previous corresponding period, the company said in a statement. SAIL said it managed to maintain a consistent sales growth during January 2020, in step with a 47% and 36% hike in sales during December and November-2019 respectively.
