SERIOUS MINERS HAVE BEEN queuing to get a slice of mineral-rich Alaska and Australian copper and gold producer Sandfire Resources looks to have positioned itself as well as any of them with a recently announced deal with White Rock Minerals (ASX: WRM). It sees greater funding and technical firepower directed at the latter's promising Red Mountain high-grade zinc and precious metals VMS project south of Fairbanks in the Bonnifield mining district.
