摘要

This study presents a novel chipless radio frequency identification tag based on HIS structure with loaded resistors. The scatters are designed to be period nesting loops. The power of the back scatted signal is controlled by varying the resistance of loaded resistors. Its operation principle is described through an equivalent transmission line model. By applying the ASK coding technology, a coding density of 11.1 bits is obtained. Polarization independence is validated by measuring the tag in different polarization directions. The cases excited with an oblique incidence wave are also discussed. Experimental validations of the proposed tag have been presented together with considerations about practical implementation.
