摘要

In this study, a compact filtering 2 x 2 array antenna with high selectivity utilizing substrate integrated waveguide ( SIW) is presented. The proposed antenna structure is mainly composed of coplanar waveguide feeding structures, SIW filtering cavities, and four radiation patches by low-temperature co-fired ceramic technology. The designed antenna not only achieves the advantages of high selectivity but also realizes a miniaturized volume of 12 x 12 x 1.18 mm3. The simulated and measured results show that the filtering antenna achieves a center frequency of 28 GHz and has a 10.7% fractional bandwidth with a 10.8 dB antenna gain.
