Offers for South Korea-origin commercial-grade hot-rolled coil (HRC)to India have risen by about $20 per tonne to $605-610 per tonne cfrMumbai for shipments in January.Indian importers are asking for the offer to be lowered to $585-590per tonne cfr Mumbai, where they were in mid-November.“We are in negotiations to bring down the price to$585-590-per-tonne-cfr levels as there is no profit margin left forthe importer at the current offer price of $605-610 cfr,” a Mumbaibased importer said.
