China’s export prices for cold-rolled coil and hot-dipped galvanizedcoil continued to rise after a month of increases even though thedomestic market appeared to be showing signs of cooling down.Metal Bulletin’s assessment of prices for January/February shipmentsof SPCC 1.0mm CRC was $608-613 per tonne fob for the week endedTuesday December 12, up $8 per tonne from a week earlier.Export traders only concluded several small transactions at around$610 per tonne fob over the last week, and most overseas buyers havereturned to the sidelines on seeing the Chinese market weaken sincelast Wednesday, according to market participants.
