Zinc’s extremely tight mined market conditions could ease, withmetals market analysts starting to factor in Glencore mine productionrestarts in 2018.Additional supply would go some way to signalling a turning pointfor the metal, which has doubled in price since January 2016.On the London Metal Exchange, three-month prices have soaredto above $3,000 per tonne, hitting a 10-year peak of $3,308 onMonday October 5. Meanwhile, zinc concentrate treatment charges(TCs) are at multi-year lows this year.
