GLOBAL ZINC & LEAD WRAP: China zinc premiums at record high; lead spot premiums flat

Chinese zinc premiums continued to climb this week, reaching their highest level for the past 21 months, because of tight supply and a positive import arbitrage. The upward momentum was also seen in Southeast Asian markets and in India this week.In lead, a small amount of Iranian material recently came to the spot market in Asia, but market participants have seen minimal effects on the price premium so far.
