Copper cathode premiums continued to edge upwards in Asia in the week ended Tuesday March 20, while the premium in the US maintained its highest level since October 2016 with a strong forward price contango rolling over past the London Metal Exchange's third Wednesday.The LME's cash/three-month forward price spread traded at $30.50 per tonne contango late on March 20 but had been as wide as $36 per tonne.
