Third-party customers have started to recognize the value-in-use advantages that come from the bauxite produced at St Ann in Jamaica, according to David D'Addario, chief executive officer (CEO) of Noranda Bauxite and Alumina.The value-in-use appeal is "readily apparent," D'Addario told delegates at Metal Bulletin's 24th Bauxite and Alumina conference in Jamaica, noting that St Ann bauxite benefits from one of the lowest alumina to silica ratios in the world.
