Brazil’s iron ore export volumes up 3% in 2017, revenues up 44%

Brazilian iron ore export volumes increased by 2.56% year-on-yearin 2017, according to figures released by national foreign tradeministry MDIC on Tuesday January 2.Iron ore shipments totaled 383.54 million tonnes last year,compared with 373.96 million tonnes in 2016.Export revenues increased by 44.47% in the same comparison, to$19.20 billion, from $13.29 billion.
