China's Shagang raises long steel prices for late February

Eastern China's Shagang has increased the prices for its long steel products for orders booked in late February.The mill is selling its HRB400 16-25mm rebar at 3,950 yuan ($587) per tonne over the February 21-28 period, up 50 yuan per tonne from its last set of prices released on February 1, it said on Thursday February 21.Shagang is also raising its HPB300 wire rod prices by the same amount to 4,050 yuan per tonne for the same period.
