China’s flake graphite export prices dipped this week afterexporters in the country cut their offer levels amid an abundanceof the material in the market, while low buying interestcompounded the weakness.Fastmarkets assessed the fob China price for flake graphite,94-97%C, +80 mesh, at $930-1,180 per tonne on Thursday March 21,down by $20 per tonne from $950-1,200 per tonne a week earlier.The export price for China-origin -100 mesh flake graphiterecorded a similar fall on the same day after domestic Chineserefiners resumed their operations, which has led to increased supplyin the market.
