The price for cold-rolled coil has ticked higher in the United States due to firmer market conditions, although pressure still lingers on coated steel prices, market participants said.Fastmarkets AMM's domestic CRC price rose by $0.50 per hundredweight week on week to $41 per cwt ($820 per short ton) on Thursday February 14, while the domestic hot-dipped galvanized base price was flat at $40 per cwt.
