The price of steel hollow sections in the European domestic market moved down this week due to weak order books, prompting many primary buyers to hold off from ordering, sources told Fastmarkets on Wednesday September 11. Fastmarkets’ weekly price assessment for steel sections (medium), domestic, delivered Northern Europe, was €585-610 ($646-674) per tonne on Wednesday, down from €585-630 per tonne one week previous.
