Seaborne coking coal market saw little trading activity on Monday March 9, with Chinese participants expecting prices to retreat. No transactions were heard during the day following a tender last Friday that failed to yield a conclusion due to bids that were too low for the miner to accept, a buyer source in China said. A buyer source in India said that he had become pessimistic about coking coal prices due to the emergence of global macro-economic headwinds following the spread of the novel coronavirus (2019- nCoV) outside China.
