Seaborne premium hard coking coal prices increased on Monday June 15, with market participants from China active in the spot market. On the Globalcoal platform, an 80,000-tonne cargo of premium mid-volatility hard coking coal in the unbranded segment, with August 1-10 laycan, was heard traded at $104.50 per tonne fob Australia on Monday June 15. On June 12, there were three deals involving July-laycan Panamax shipments, sources told Fastmarkets.
