Indonesian price weakness persists

Firm bids were sorely lacking in the Indonesian market this week, further depressing both low-rank and sub-bituminous coal prices. Demand for Indonesian coal continues to wane with China all but absent from the market and Indian traders struggling to move high inventories of imported material purchased before prices came off.
