Petcoke prices remained firm this week as global tenderactivity has picked up at a time when United States Gulf (USG)refineries are in the middle of planned maintenance.There is about 0.65 mt of new tender business to beconcluded over the next couple of weeks.Thermal coal prices outside Northwest Europe haverecovered some of their earlier losses, which helps petcokeimprove its competitiveness for Asian customers at least.
