Korean buyer inks first Mexicanloading Us coal deal

The first purchase by a Korean generator of United States coal forloading out of Mexico was seen in early-February.South Korea’s largest independent power producer, GSDonghae Electric Power, made the unique award.It will see coal from Murray Energy’s Lila Canyon in Utah,transported around 1,000 miles by land to Mexico’s Guaymas Port,which sits on the Gulf of California.
