DTEK reports increased high-vol coal output in 2017

DTEK produced 27.7 mt of coal in 2017, of which 22.9 mt werehigh-vol steam coal grades, a rise of 8% from 2016, while anthraciteand low-vol coal output totalled 4.8 mt, a fall of 52% on the year.DTEK’s coal exports in 2017 fell by 44% on the year to 0.75 mt.DTEK also said its coal imports in 2017 totalled 2.6 mt, 12 timesup on the amount imported in 2016.
