Adaro Energy falls short of 2017 production target

One of Indonesia’s largest miners, Adaro Energy, produced51.79 mt of coal in 2017, missing its target of 52.00-54.00 mt, andeasing 2% from output of 52.64 mt in 2016.It is understood that the year on year decline in performancewas due to wet weather persisting throughout 2017, which“weighed down operation activities” at its mines.
