Indonesian coal loadings inch up

Coal loading in Indonesia's coal-rich region of Kalimantan inched up this week, despite rain and amid a slowdown in bookings for December, industry sources said. Total coal loadings from major ports and anchorages, namely Samarinda, Taboneo, Tanjung Bara, Bunati, Adang Bay, Satui, Tanjung Pemancingan and Balikpapan, were 6.29 mt on 19 November, up from 5.90 mt as of 12 November, IHS Markit Maritime and Trade data show.
