Taipower buys Indonesian sub-bit, Australian bituminous

Taiwan's state-owned generator, Taipower, is understood to have awarded two tenders, for sub-bituminous and bituminous material. Seven Panamaxes (0.56 mt) of Indonesian sub-bituminous were awarded in tender TPC10801-LS. Noble Resources International was awarded three Panamaxes, and Advance Trading SA and Universe Marine and Trading were each awarded two, with the price understood to be $84.00- $85.30/t CFR, basis 6,322 kc GAR, on a CIF evaluated basis.
