The global seaborne thermal coal market could be undersupplied next year due to strong Asian demand and slower production growth, trading house Noble Resources forecasts. “We see the market becoming undersupplied as we enter 2020 because of the strong demand growth in Asia Pacific,” said Rodrigo Echeverri, head of research at Noble, at the Coaltrans conference in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
