S. Africa exports set to fall again on poor demand in Europe, East Asia

South African bituminous exports are on track to fall for the second straight year with January-September shipments down nearly 4% from a year ago, as demand drops in Europe, East Asia and the Middle East. In the first nine months of this year, exports totalled 55.63 mt, compared to 57.71 mt a year ago and 59.29 mt in the same period of 2017.
