Indian coal auctions attract 46 companies, including Adani

As many as 46 private sector companies have shown interest in the Indian government’s auction of 38 coal blocks for commercial mining with Adani Group, including its coal trading arm, bidding for a total of eight blocks. “A total number of 82 bids from 46 companies have been received in the oice of Nominated Authority for 23 coal mines/blocks,” an oicial release said.
