The Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization of Murray Energy Holdings and its subsidiaries became efective this week, with the eastern United States (US) thermal coal miner now renamed American Consolidated Natural Resources (ACNR). The plan was approved by the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio on 31 August and the final details were settled over the past two weeks.
