The number of vessels waiting to load coal at Australian ports fell to 35 in the week to 17 September, down from 38 in the previous week. The ship queue at the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT) remains at five vessels, less than a quarter of the number required for the most eicient operation of the terminal. The average wait time in the past week has fallen to seven days from 15 days.
