US NOLA: Granular barges stumble then fall

After slipping moderately from the market week's start at $276/st FOB New Orleans, granular urea moved down to $265/st FOB late January 6. This put the low end of this week's range $10/st below last week's low. Most of the decline occurred late in the market week, after most transactions reported to Fertilizer Week were confirmed around $271/st FOB.
